I have been so absent lately but was sorting through school stuff & waiting for This is Us to come on, when I remembered “oh hey girl, you have a blog”. So here I am! With seasons changing & the end of the year wrapping up I just wanted to share something with you. This wont be my typical lengthy blog post because the message is simple. Do it! Whatever it is you have been scared to do lately. Just do it. It can be anything from dying your hair to making a career change. I just want to encourage you to make the jump. This message has been on my mind for the last few weeks as I have been reflecting on my new found job (go Belleview Bulldogs)! I spent so many years of my life being afraid. I wasn’t just afraid, I’ll be honest I was totally afraid, of failure and not being good enough. This extended into multiple aspects of my life, not just teaching but also, relationships, and day to day things. When I finally had the opportunity to make a big change in my life I begin to notice that “jumping” carried over into other aspects of my as well. With this I was able to find a confidence about myself I never knew I had. Let me tell you it was the best decision I ever made. I no longer fear failure but embrace it because with failure also comes a lesson learned. A lesson learned will always bring greatness.
So jump! Right now. Watch how one decision can lead to multiple “jumping” experiences for you. I know you wont regret it. Life is to short to think back and wish you would have. Strive to better yourself. Strive to challenge yourself. I promise you wont regret it.I believe in you, believe in yourself.
